Advocacy Manager
Meliza Frias, Esq. joined FFCR in 2018 as Review Specialist and became the Advocacy Manager in October 2019. Prior to this, Meliza served for four years as Senior Child’s Best Interest Attorney with the Guardian Ad Litem Program in Miami. Meliza graduated with honors from Florida International University College of Law. During her studies, she worked with children and families at FIU’s Family Law Clinic. In 2017, Meliza was awarded the Guardian Ad Litem Program’s Executive Director Award for her exceptional leadership and advocacy on behalf of abused and neglected children. In 2019, Meliza was appointed to the statewide Independent Living Services Advisory Council by the Florida Department of Children & Families.
