April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. In honor of the month and the cause, FFCR staff wore blue and donned pinwheels, the national symbol of children in our communities, to help raise awareness. You too can show your support and ensure that this year’s theme to “Help Great Childhoods Happen” is a reality.
Consider posting about your support on social media, mentoring a child or even volunteering with our Citizen Review Panel (CRP) or Permanency Roundtable (PRT) programs. At FFCR, our staff and over 75 volunteers work tirelessly to ensure that our community’s children in foster care are connected to essential services and have the chance to grow up in a permanent family.
