The Miami Foundation’s 2018 Give Miami Day Raises $11.5M for Miami Non-profits

Not even two weeks after our Claws for Kids event, FFCR’s friends and supporters once again generously contributed to our Give Miami Day campaign on November 15th. A county-wide day of philanthropy lead by The Miami Foundation, $11.5 million was raised for more than 750 Miami nonprofits. We were thrilled and humbled to receive $12,000 from 95 donors in support of children in foster care. Funds raised for each organization will be amplified by the ‘bonus pool,’ which is funded by 45 individuals, corporations and foundations.

As we gear up for the end of one year and the start of another, we are grateful and even more inspired to create a community in which every child is able to grow up in a family where they receive the love and support they need to thrive. Thank YOU for the role you play in advancing this vision.
