On Friday, April 13th, FFCR Board President MaryAnne Lukacs and Board Member Lourdes (Luly) Aviñó hosted Cocktails for a Cause. In support of FFCR and its programming, guests were invited to mix and mingle with longtime supporters, Board and Legacy Board Members and staff. Events such as these provide an invaluable opportunity to expose the community to the many needs of children in foster care and to discuss the many ways that each of us can be part of giving them a better future. Hosts MaryAnne and Luly talked about their passion for serving abused and neglected children and explained why they support FFCR’s work. Executive Director, Candice Maze, spoke about the organization’s long history and shared stories of FFCR’s impact on the lives of children in foster care.
