As demand for our services grows, FFCR welcomed Esther Garcia-Rosenberg, Esq. to the team. Esther joins as Permanency Roundtable Specialist and will facilitate roundtable consultations to develop and implement permanency action plans focused on creating a forever family for foster children.
Prior to joining FFCR, Esther worked with the Guardian ad Litem Program as a Child’s Best Interest Attorney where she advocated for the best interest of abused, abandoned, and neglected children in foster care. In recognition of her work in child welfare, she was awarded the Statewide Guardian ad Litem Ackerman Impact Award for exemplary legal advocacy and innovative thinking in April 2017. She was also awarded the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Attorney of the Quarter Award, First Quarter 2017. Esther received her Juris Doctor degree from Florida International University where she served as Board of Advocates Vice President of Negotiations. She graduated from FIU with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, magna cum laude, with a minor in Education.
