FFCR Welcomes New Staff Member!

We are excited to announce that Melissa Meade has recently joined Florida Foster Care Review as our Communications & Development Coordinator. Originally from New York, Melissa moved to Florida in 2007 to attend the University of Miami. She graduated with a triple major in Economics, Ecosystem Science & Policy and International Studies and a minor in Business Administration.

Melissa has worked professionally in wealth management and has also served in various capacities supporting communication and operational efforts for community organizations, campaigns, entrepreneurs and small businesses. She considers the well-being of children to be our collective responsibility and hope. In addition to her passion for children, Melissa cares deeply about the environment, equal access to opportunity and promoting peace both within and throughout world.

In her new role at FFCR, Melissa will work with our staff, board, volunteers and donors to grow our base of support and to raise awareness about the many needs of children and youth in foster care.
