Special Graduation Ceremony for Youth in Foster Care

On Friday, June 8th the FFCR team joined community members and supporters to cheer on the 2018 graduating class at the OurKids of Miami-Dade and Monroe’s Annual Graduation Ceremony. Held at Miami-Dade College’s Wolfson Campus, the ceremony recognized the young adults in foster care who have recently graduated and received their high school, Associate, or College degrees. A true testament of their hard work and dedication to their studies, the recent graduates were surrounded by family, friends and child welfare advocates celebrating their successes. Congratulations to this year’s graduating class.
