Attorney and Reverend William “Bill” Walker, Jr. has been with Florida Foster Care Review from the beginning as the Chair of the United Way committee that created the organization. He served as the Founding Board President and, through his numerous leadership positions in the community, has advanced the cause of vulnerable and at-risk children since 1975 in his various roles with the United Way of Miami-Dade. He has been the Chair of the Board of United Way of Florida and Easter Seal Society of Miami-Dade County. He was a Founding Director of Kristi House and a Trustee of CHARLEE and Our Kids of Miami-Dade Monroe. In addition to his extraordinary community service, Bill was an attorney at White & Case for 20 years and is now Of Counsel at Alvarez Arrieta & Diaz-Silveira, LLP. He is also the Associate Rector of St. Thomas Episcopal Parish.
